Sets up

  • Expo + EAS
  • Swift
  • App Store Connect
  • Sign in with Apple
  • Google Sign-In
  • Supabase
  • Convex
  • Firebase
  • RevenueCat
  • Push notifications
  • AdMob
  • Google Play
  • Fastlane

The code is done. The accounts around it aren't.

Your app runs in the simulator. Then you need a bundle ID, an App Store Connect record, the right capabilities, an APNs key, OAuth client IDs for three platforms, a Supabase or Convex auth provider that accepts all of them, RevenueCat products that match App Store Connect, and a privacy form. Each one lives in a different dashboard. One wrong ID can leave you with a login that silently fails.

The last 10%, done by hand

  • Provisioning and capability errors the first time you build for a device.
  • A rejection because Google sign-in shipped without Sign in with Apple.
  • Google client IDs that work on iOS and fail on Android.
  • RevenueCat products that never load because one ID doesn't match App Store Connect.

With the kit

  • Bundle ID, App Store Connect record and capabilities created with your own API key.
  • Apple and Google providers configured in Supabase or Convex.
  • Firebase iOS and Android apps created and their config files downloaded.
  • Every ID written to one credentials file as it's made.

AppSetUpKit/AI-AGENT-INSTRUCTIONS.md

Starts with a prompt you paste into Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, then tells the agent the order to work in and when to stop and ask you.

# AI Agent Instructions

**Specific instructions for AI coding assistants using AppSetUpKit**

## 🤖 Purpose

This document provides clear, actionable instructions for AI agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Cline and similar coding agents) to automate mobile app setup using this toolkit.

## ▶️ Start Here: Paste This Into Your Agent

Put the `AppSetUpKit` folder inside (or next to) your app's folder, open the app in Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, fill in the brackets and paste:

```text
Read ./AppSetUpKit/AI-AGENT-INSTRUCTIONS.md and ./AppSetUpKit/SETUP-GUIDE.md first.
My app: [App name], iOS bundle ID [com.company.app], Android package [com.company.app],
Apple Team ID [TEAMID], backend [Convex | Supabase | Firebase].
… 533 more lines in the kit
Want more than the first lines? Read all of setup-automation.sh free.
How it works
  1. Unzip it next to your app
    Put the AppSetUpKit folder inside your project. It's plain scripts and Markdown, so nothing runs until you or your agent start a step.
  2. Paste the starter prompt
    It tells your agent which guides to read and in what order. It also tells the agent to show you every command that changes one of your accounts before it runs.
  3. Approve each step
    The agent creates the records, writes every ID into CREDENTIALS-yourapp.md, and checks TROUBLESHOOTING.md when something fails. Then you build with EAS and submit.
The starter prompt (from AI-AGENT-INSTRUCTIONS.md)
Read ./AppSetUpKit/AI-AGENT-INSTRUCTIONS.md and ./AppSetUpKit/SETUP-GUIDE.md first.
My app: [App name], iOS bundle ID [com.company.app], …, backend [Convex | Supabase | Firebase].
1. Run the prerequisite check and tell me what is missing before doing anything else.
2. Then set up, one step at a time: App Store Connect app record and capabilities,
   Sign in with Apple and Google sign-in, push notifications, RevenueCat.
3. Before any command that creates or changes something in one of my accounts,
   show me the exact command and wait for my OK.
…
What it won't do for you
  • Paying for your Apple Developer membership ($99 a year) or Google Play account ($25 once).
  • Creating your App Store Connect API key. Only you can download it.
  • Creating the RevenueCat project. The guide walks you through the dashboard.
  • Writing your store listing, or pressing Submit.
Questions before you buy? Email support@appsetupkit.com.
Is it a fit for your app?
Works with
  • Expo apps on EAS (the guides target SDK 55)
  • Bare React Native, through the service guides
  • Native Swift and SwiftUI, with its own script
  • Supabase, Convex or Firebase for sign-in
You'll need
  • A Mac for anything that touches Xcode
  • An Apple Developer account ($99 a year)
  • Node.js 20.19 or newer, plus the Fastlane and EAS CLIs. The first script checks for them.
Not built for
  • Flutter, Kotlin-only Android or web-only apps. The scripts assume Expo, React Native or Swift.
Questions
What exactly do I get?
A zip with 9 setup scripts in Node.js and Bash, plus 21 Markdown guides. That's about 13,000 lines in all. After checkout, Stripe sends you to a page where you download the zip, and we email you a link that keeps working and always serves the newest version.
Can I read any of it before I buy?
Yes. The full setup-automation.sh script is free to read at appsetupkit.com/sample, and the file list on the home page shows the first lines of every file in the zip.
I already have an app. Can I use this?
Yes. Most of the kit sets up the services around an app you already have: App Store Connect, Sign in with Apple, Google sign-in, Supabase, Convex or Firebase auth, RevenueCat and push. Skip the steps that create a new Expo project.
Is this a boilerplate or a starter template?
No. There are no screens or UI components. A starter like Ignite gives you app code to begin with. This kit sets up the accounts and provider settings that code needs before it can ship.
Does it work with Expo, bare React Native and Swift?
Expo is the main path. The wizards can create the project and run eas init, and the service guides apply to bare React Native too. Native Swift apps have their own script, swift-setup-2026.sh. Android is covered in the Google Play and Firebase guides, though the scripts lean toward iOS.
Do I need an AI coding agent?
No. Every step is a script or a written guide you can follow yourself. If you use Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, AI-AGENT-INSTRUCTIONS.md starts with a prompt you paste in. It tells the agent to show you each command that changes one of your accounts and wait for your OK.
What do I still have to do myself?
Pay for the Apple Developer Program ($99 a year) and a Google Play developer account ($25 once). Download your App Store Connect API key. Create your RevenueCat project in its dashboard, following the guide. Then write your store listing and press Submit.
Do I need a Mac?
For native Swift and anything in Xcode, yes. Expo apps can build in the cloud with EAS Build. The Bash and Node scripts were written on macOS.
Which tool versions does it cover?
The guides were last updated in April 2026, against Expo SDK 55 and Xcode 26. The wizards install the current Expo SDK when they create a project, and Apple still accepts builds made with Xcode 26.
Is my data safe?
The scripts run on your machine and talk straight to Apple, Google, Supabase, Convex, Firebase and RevenueCat with your own keys. Nothing is sent to us, and we never see your keys.
Is it a subscription?
No. You pay $99 once. Your download link keeps working and serves the newest version of the kit.
Who's behind AppSetUpKit?
AppSetUpKit is sold by startupstartup.app. That's the name you'll see on the Stripe checkout, and your card statement reads STARTUPSTARTUP PRODUCT. A person reads every email sent to support@appsetupkit.com.
What if I get stuck?
Start with TROUBLESHOOTING.md. It covers the signing, OAuth and provider errors that stop most setups. If that doesn't fix it, email support@appsetupkit.com.
